Konsulatet kan inte längre utfärda "O-A Long Stay
Visa" utan hänvisar dessa ärenden till Thailändska
Ambasaden i Stockholm.
TOURIST VISA
FÖR ANSÖKAN OM TOURIST VISA KRÄVS FÖLJANDE:
• 1 st. ifyllt och undertecknat ansökningsformulär.
• Pass, observera att visumstämpeln tar upp en hel sida i passet. (Passet måste vara giltigt minst 6 månader från inresedagen samt helt och oskadat)
• 2 st. passfoto med namnteckning på baksidan.
• En kopia på biljett eller bokningsbekräftelse.
• En kopia på passet.
• 260 kr i avgift per person och resa.
VID POSTHANTERING:
• Skicka med ett ofrankerat REK svarskuvert med kontanter i enlighet med antalet pass;
1-2 pass = 100 SEK, 3-4 pass = 120 SEK
Behandlingstid ca: 1 vecka. (Under högsäsong; okt-jan. räkna med 2 till 3 veckor)
Inresa i Thailand måste ske inom 90 dagar efter viseringen.
Tourist visa gäller i 60 dagar från inresedagen, därefter
får förlängning sökas i Thailand.
NON-IMIGRANT VISA
FÖR ANSÖKAN OM NON-IMIGRANT VISA KRÄVS FÖLJANDE:
• 1 st. ifyllt och undertecknat ansökningsformulär.
• Pass, observera att visumstämpeln tar upp en hel sida i passet. (Passet måste vara giltigt minst 6 månader från inresedagen samt helt och oskadat)
• 2 st. passfoto med namnteckning på baksidan
• En kopia på biljett eller bokningsbekräftelse.
• En kopia på passet.
• En kopia på Vigselbeviset och en kopia på maka/makes Thai ID-kort eller Thai pass om du är gift med en thailändsk medborgare.
• Inkomstuppgift (Pensionsbeslut från Försäkringskassan om Du är pensionär) och personbevis.
• Avgift 520 kr per person och resa.
Avgift 1300 kr för flera inresor under ett år.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Validity of Visa & Period of Stay
Please note that a visa means “ a permit to enter” NOT “ a permit to stay” and the validity of a visa IS NOT the duration of stay in Thailand. Visa validity is the period during which a visa can be used to enter Thailand. In general, the validity of a visa is 3 months, but in some cases may be valid for 6 months to 1 year.
The period of stay is granted by an immigration officer upon arrival at the port of entry in accordance with the type of visa. The period of stay granted by the Immigration officer is displayed on the arrival stamp which shows the entry date and the last date of permission to stay. Please look at the stamp right away to avoid overstay problems which may result in a fine.
Please note that holders of Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian passports can stay in Thailand as tourists for up to 30 days without visa. But you cannot combine these 30 days with all types of visa issued by the Royal Thai Embassy upon your arrival to Thailand.
Those holding travel documents for aliens (i.e. an alien passport or certificate of identity) have to apply for visa at the Royal Thai Embassy only.

Where & How to apply visa and opening time for a visa application
Important Information
1. The Embassy will not process a visa application if the application
form is not completely filled out.
2. Do not apply for a visa earlier than 3 months before your expected
date of arrival to Thailand for single entry visa.
3. The Embassy reserves the right to request more documents or ask for
an interview if necessary.
4. The Embassy will not refund the visa fee paid if your application has
been declined.
5. After collecting the passport with issued visa, applicant should check
the visa sticker carefully to make sure it accords with your purposes
and supposed visit to Thailand. If there are any doubts, you must raise
it immediately with the staff. Otherwise the applicants will take all
the consequences by themselves
Requirements for Other Traveling Documents
Holders of traveling documents other than passports may have to submit other documents in applying for a visa to Thailand. Please contact the Thai Consulate for detailed information.
